SGCC successful in bid for provincial grant for grounds upgrades
The Ste. Genevieve Community Centre was successful in its application for a $75,000 matching grant under the Province of Manitoba’s new Building Sustainable Communities Program. The grant was awarded based on application prepared by the SGCC executive board and Ste. Genevieve community members describing the Exterior Recreation Upgrade – Backfield Development project. The backfield project will include leveling the field and preparing it for future outdoor recreation development such as a baseball diamond.
SGCC is looking for volunteers to assist with the design and development of backfield project. If you are interested in getting involved and can assist in any capacity or know of someone who may be please contact us at SGCCExecutive@gmail.com or message us on our Facebook page.
